I drove to Lake Charles from Texas. Scenery so suddenly changed! I kept looking around for a statue of Janis Joplin.

I lived in DeRidder for 2 1/2 years one week. Actually, it was a very formative time for me, and I miss it. I've been to Lake Charles many times.
