If "Under the Dome" was in a mass market paperback, I think I would need stronger reading glasses! Glad for the larger print editions and the trade paperbacks. Have an old copy of the The Stand in paperback. I can hardly read it. I have to get a hardcover of it now that I am getting old.:inspect:
You should treat yourself to the new Kindle Paperwhite ereader. You can choose the font size to suit you and it stays light in weight regardless how big the book is that you are reading, so saves on the achy wrists.

I have a Kindle, and I could get the trade paperback or hard cover, but it's just become the way I've collected King books to get the "normal" size paperback books. So I would like to keep collecting them that way. Unfortunately in this high tech age, the old way of a paperback coming out about a year after the original hardcover seem to be coming to an end. Plus, I don't really understand the point of the trade paperback. It's just about as thick as the hardcover, and much flimsier, seeing as how it's a soft cover. It took forever for them to finally release the last three books of the Dark Tower series in a normal paperback form.
Thanks for the suggestions though.

I killed so many copies of THE STAND in PB! After the fifth or sixth, BH bought me the hardback, & I have since found a HB of the original version (I like that one better than the expanded edition). Had to do the same with LONESOME DOVE--ah, those beloved, well-read books... :)

I find it really hard to keep paperbacks in excellent condition. I usually read the books from the library and save the ware and tare on mine.
