I want to read this! Maybe I can pick up a copy of the issue in question on good old Ebay. I don't know anyone in real life who buys Esquire. I look forward to reading it!

I didn't mean that as a disparaging remark to anyone who buys Esquire! I re-read my post and realized it came out wrong. :)
It's all good. This isn't real life anyway. In real life I'm Stephen King. =D

I didn't read through this thread just in case there were spoilers (I can't help but click on them). I just wanted to share with everyone that I ordered a copy of Esquire (August 2014) online and I can't wait to read That Bus Is Another World.
I just went to check my copy of Esquire and it turns out that I have the November 2014 issue that also has an interview with Stephen King but no story (drat!:(_)

Was this story supernatural-themed? How does it compare with a Night Shift tale?

To the person who wrote this (don't have the name in front of me as I write this), amazing you said that -- I do the same thing. I sometimes have to buy something at a store so no one thinks I am shoplifting. I am working on getting over that.

Of course, that would make for an interesting short story. Someone with OCD finally gets over that compulsion and then gets falsely accused of shoplifting. Turns into a nightmare interrogation a la that news story about the McDonald's incident. Maybe even beyond that.

"That Bus Is Another World" doesn't have a supernatural element. My takeaway was that it was more of a morality/ethics piece.
