Hi Everyone, I am new to the internet and this new fangled technology but I am a long time reader and BIG fan of Stephen King. I saw Carrie at the drive in when it came out and liked it but I didn't get hooked until I read Pet Cemetery and started to read Eyes of the Dragon. My friend had hardbacks he would let me read at his house but not borrow, and before I could finish Eyes of the Dragon I moved away. I moved to Northern California and went to the first bookstore I could find. Well the paperback had not come out yet so I had to but the hardback. Then it began, after that I went to a used bookstore in Southern Oregon and found a copy of IT First Edition. After that I just started finding any Stephen King book I could get my hands on. By the way that was 1985 and although I took a break from my collecting to raise my kids I kept my books the whole time (30 years ) Now thanks to the internet I found out that not only is my copy of IT a First Edition but also the copy of eyes of the Dragon. I somehow managed to aquire 4 other first editions with my total number of books, Both hardback and paperback is at an amazing 29. I am still at it and trying to get any and all books written by my my idol, the man himself Stephen King. Well that's my story let me hear some of yours, my fellow constant readers.
