Last year my goal was to discover as many new authors as possible, and I think I accomplished that. I'm going to continue that this year. 2015 was my best reading year.

My goal this year is to live as freely as possible. That sounds cliché, but I've been burdened by some people/things in my personal life I need to let go of.

Mine is always the same: floss
I always blow it. But I'll try again next year.
I can't stress strongly enough how important flossing is Holly. Be true to your teeth and they won't be false to you!
I know this because in February I am going to have every tooth in my head extracted. Periodontal disease is not fun, no sir. M O O N, that spells floss!

Not a resolution person. Main desire- stay in only positives and “Don’t die with your music still in you” -- meaning that you don’t allow yourself to live any life other than the one you were born to live.
Beautiful!
So I guess what prompted me to make a resolution this year was a 20 dollar can of hair spray. I saw a video a few months ago about testing cosmetics on animals and I can't un-see it. Every time I put my make-up on and do my hair I'd see it. So in order to get those visions out of my mind I bought make up and other cosmetics, shampoo etc. that weren't tested on animals.
Well when I started running out of hairspray I went on a quest for cruelty free hair spray. I had gotten really lucky with finding things that were reasonably priced but completely struck out with hairspray. So I broke down and bought Paul Mitchell hairspray and if I was going to make that big of an investment in a principle I had better commit to it... thus, I suppose my resolution was born.

I gave up smoking again. It is not all that bad. I am not having many nic attacks.
I'm not advocating for it, or saying it's bad, but have you tried vape-ing at a zero nic level when you get the urge to puff?
I've gone from roughly a pack or more a day to one or two cigs a year since I've started using e cigs. I've gone from the highest nic level down to about half way down to zero. It's been working for me and I feel better than I have in years. I can taste food now!!!

I promised myself that this year I would organize my paperback book collection. And I did. I constructed the bookshelf myself, and it took me three days. Many of the books go back some thirty plus years. Remember when Signet classics cost 95 cents. And Ace paperbacks of the works of Edgar Rice Burroughs for .60? Like Ripley, believe it or not.
If you look close enough at the picture below, on the right top shelf (where else?) you can see my extra copies of (who else?) Stephen King.

Why do I keep extra copies of Stephen King? Consider: As I would not drive my care without a spare, I would not read horror without a spare Stephen King.

Also on that top right hand shelf a copy of Clive Barker's Cabal. Why Clive Barker? you ask. Simple. Because he's the future of horror. Thanks for looking.KINDLE_CAMERA_1452077913000.jpg

Thank you so much Miss Spidey. I was really surprised to find how many budget and critter friendly cosmetics and other things are out there for the finding. The hairspray kinda set me back on my heels though, being a natural born frugal person and all. The list you sent me will be invaluable in my future efforts to find cruelty free stuff. Thanks again!
