I'm not advocating for it, or saying it's bad, but have you tried vape-ing at a zero nic level when you get the urge to puff?
I've gone from roughly a pack or more a day to one or two cigs a year since I've started using e cigs. I've gone from the highest nic level down to about half way down to zero. It's been working for me and I feel better than I have in years. I can taste food now!!!
I have been using an e-cigarette but, already, I am seeing no big need for it. This time quitting is way easier. Glad to hear of your success, my dear.

I can't stress strongly enough how important flossing is Holly. Be true to your teeth and they won't be false to you!
I know this because in February I am going to have every tooth in my head extracted. Periodontal disease is not fun, no sir. M O O N, that spells floss!
Eye-yi-yi! I'll make a stronger effort. I know that's going to suck big big for you! I'm so sorry.

I gave up smoking again. It is not all that bad. I am not having many nic attacks.
I actually bought a pack on New Year's Eve because all my peeps at the party I went to are smokers and I like to join them. There's some left. I've put them in a safe place for emergencies. I've been an on and off again smoker for years. Good luck to you! I'm betting the rest of my pack won't last a month, but then I won't buy any more - they're darned expensive.

To communicate better. Make more friends and learn to answer conversation better.
Everyone loves you, doll! But I would love to talk to you more! And I swear if I ever get further east than Exit 87 , I'll give you a shout. Maybe we'll meet up and have some lunch.

I promised myself that this year I would organize my paperback book collection. And I did. I constructed the bookshelf myself, and it took me three days. Many of the books go back some thirty plus years. Remember when Signet classics cost 95 cents. And Ace paperbacks of the works of Edgar Rice Burroughs for .60? Like Ripley, believe it or not.
If you look close enough at the picture below, on the right top shelf (where else?) you can see my extra copies of (who else?) Stephen King.

Why do I keep extra copies of Stephen King? Consider: As I would not drive my care without a spare, I would not read horror without a spare Stephen King.

Also on that top right hand shelf a copy of Clive Barker's Cabal. Why Clive Barker? you ask. Simple. Because he's the future of horror. Thanks for looking.View attachment 13785

That's lovely! I love that! I went to see Hellraiser back in the 80s at the theatre (Cabana, no less) because I just knew I'd be scared outta my mind- they sold the movie based on SK's comment: I have seen the future of horror!

I can't say I agree with SK, but if you're tryna sell some books and movies, get SK on your team. Word.

Last year my goal was to discover as many new authors as possible, and I think I accomplished that. I'm going to continue that this year. 2015 was my best reading year.

My goal this year is to live as freely as possible. That sounds cliché, but I've been burdened by some people/things in my personal life I need to let go of.
Things I plan to do:
Comic book
Phoenix Tears
Sudan
...and to not stand in my own way so much.

Btw, I bow in the general direction of Achtung Baby's profile picture.

I went to e-cig in April of last year and never looked back. It's great. So, no resolutions this year, I think not smoking should cover
at least 2 years.

I did a New Year's resolution back in the '80s. I said I would give up sugared soft drinks and stop sweetening my coffee.

It worked. I went to diet soft drinks, and now I'm pretty much off of soft drinks altogether. I haven't enjoyed sweetened coffee since then. I figure that that New Year's resolution was good for getting rid of a few hundred thousand calories in the intervening years.

Since then, not so much. I have a shorter-term goal: To lose some weight when I meet up with some colleagues in late February. Oh, and to lose weight and eat better for my health, because that should be important too.

Anyone see "Sally Forth" in the comics today? Mildly brilliant.

It'd be good to get to "fighting" weight - say, about 180. Especially for a couple gatherings I'm going to, late February and late July. And most especially for King Kon.

It'd also be good to just stay the heck out of political discussions on Facebook. Let's start that one today.

I'm not sure which is the less realistic.

My New Year resolution is that I really going to save some money. when we finally get some relief in our money matters I'm
going to buy a travel abroad for me and my darling. We deserve it and at the same time I'm going to surprise him
with the trip. I don't tell him anything before we arrive to the airport. I have thought about a longer weekend trip to NYC. I
know he will like it, he have never been to US before.

I have also decided to start to exercise more and eat less candy and ice cream and all sorts of goodies.
