Well, it's better than those stupid "stare into the camera and pretend like you don't know what to say/about to cry" atrocities. But it made me want mushroom pizza.
Absolutely. It would've been so easy to assume it was a crank call or that the caller was high or crazy.
I am sure the responders are trained to pick up on clues. If it helps one person that is abused, it would be worth the ad.
One would hope the responders would be so trained, but I've heard enough horror stories about bad responders to be safe in assuming some of them would never pick up on anything the commercial's scenario presents.
