I clearly have only focused on his comedy and not his personal life. I had no idea there was a whole thing about him. I'll have to do some research.

You, sir, are correct! His off-stage dramas are overshadowing his career. Maybe he should hire Miley Cyrus' management team? (Sarcasm!) I never really did find him all that funny to begin with.
It's a sad thing when a public figure melts down. I think it's worse when it's a comic. We expect them to be so happy, funny and cheerful all the time.

Katt Williams gets arrested every 5 minutes it seems. Dude has been arrested like 10 times since 2010 and seems to never spend more then a few nights in county jail. His lawyers are miracle workers.

Apparently it's pretty uncommon knowledge around my parts. I told my friends who also love him last night and they had no idea either.
I'm surprised by that honestly. He's up there with Lindsay Lohan or Charlie Sheen in terms of reputation. Every time I turn around a TV host is making a Katt Williams joke.

I don't think we pay much attention to them either. In fact, the only time I've ever paid attention to LL was the one time when paparazzi was following her and making it so I couldn't get into Whole Foods and I got really annoyed.

TMZ reports Glen Jackson is claiming Katt Williams and his bodyguard pepper sprayed him after he attempted to take a photograph of the comedian while both were parked side by side in their respective cars near LAX. According to Jackson, Williams drove his Rolls Royce into Jackson’s leg, pepper sprayed the man again and then drove off.
This incident occurs two weeks after Williams allegedly pulled a gun on four individuals shooting a documentary outside of The Comedy Store in West Hollywood on July 1st
