It's sad. I suppose certain animals might revert to wild behavior, and that neither I nor the alligator-lady are not the experts on that.

I'm hoping that if she doesn't get to keep him, that he'll be well taken care of in the sanctuary that has offered to take him in. She'll get to visit and maybe bring him back home on occasion. Course, taking Rambo out of his home environment might kill him or make him turn mean.

Sorry, I don't think dangerous wild animals should ever be kept as pets.

Me either. Not only are you a danger to yourself but also your neighbors. I saw this documentary called "the Elephant In The Living Room" about wild animals being kept as pets in the US and it was pretty scary. The doc was mostly about cats and it was hard to believe how many big cats are being kept as pets. In the doc, they claimed that there are more tigers in Texas than in India. It's pretty sad because so many of the animals are abused because the people that own them can't take proper care of them.

A few years back, there was a gator who lived in the small lake about half a mile away. Was at the edge of the road, and often cars had to stop to permit the gator to cross to the field on the other side. Haven't seen it this year.

I hope he was following the signs and using the proper gator crosswalk
