The title of my novella is "Investigative Eye: The Case of the Maltese Pyramid," @ Amazon.

Got it. Thank you.
Samuel Blackstone, a Chicago-based investigative Eye or psychic detective, is hired by a beautiful suburban female millionaire to recover a stolen heirloom, the Maltese pyramid. The item in question is a 3500-year-old pyramidal-shaped object or talisman which is said to prolong health, beauty and youth. Little does he suspect that the pursuit of the Maltese pyramid will be fraught with mystery, suspense, adventure---and danger.

Cool cover...don't know if I can post a pic of that. One site or another. Don't know. How'd you get the cover done? Anyway...I enjoy stories like this, have read many. Nice to meet ya. :) Thanks again!

Thanks for looking. The cover was a collaborative effort. I provided the idea. My daughter, who is an artist, did the painting. And a professional book cover designer did the lettering and overall design. My daughter also did my avatar.

Talented daughter. Your story looks promising, I like the start. But I'm a stickler for finishing things...about and inch and a quarter of the way through Hopeful Monsters another five-eighths of an inch to go, a slow read, interesting in some ways, the ideas. Have you ever been to Chicago? Don't matter to me, just curious. Saul Bellow never visited Africa and his Henderson the Rain King is one of his best. Things are looking up...some good stuff to read, just finished some pumpkin pie ice cream with it. Onward, ever onward.

Thanks for reading. Not born in Chicago, but I was raised and educated there. The West Side.
