Stephen will be appearing with his son, author Owen King, in New York City on September 24th at 7:30 PM, presented by The Center for Fiction at the Gerald Lynch Theater at John Jay College. All proceeds will benefit The Center's Books for NYC Schools/KidsRead, a program that helps get kids reading and provides over 35,000 books a year to schools in at-risk neighborhoods throughout New York City. He and Owen will talk about and read from their new books and will answer questions from the audience. Tickets are $40 for premium seats and $37.50 for rear, side and balcony seats and will include a copy of Doctor Sleep. The event will not include a book signing, but Stephen will be pre-signing a limited number of copies of Doctor Sleep, which will be randomly distributed at the conclusion of the event.
