Unfortunately, I have nothing left to like about any of the months of fall. I can't stand October because my mom died in that month and my grandma's birthday was in that month, and she's also gone.
But even so, I still think October is 100 times less painful than September just because it's not September.
My mom's birthday was in November.

I like Spring because it's as far away from Autumn as you can get. My birthday's in Spring although since I passed a certain age mark, I haven't been that crazy about my birthday. Not like I was when I was 17 anyway.

I'm with Lina. August for me. Warm and comfy but not too warm. Perfect for walks in the forest. It rains to much in october. With the leaves colouring and all it can be beautiful but it is also a bit sad to see nature slowly dying around you. It is much more cheering to the mind to see nature awaken and stand in its prime than the slow death in October.

So guys, what is your favorite thing about fall or what is your favorite month/ time of the year?

Memories...and anticipation. I remember different places I'd been in the autumn of the year...Duluth...Great Lakes Naval Training Center...here at home in the U.P.

anticipation...there's a seasonal road across the lake, Torch...13 miles as the Ford drives, maybe 3 as the crow flies, much like the one above and there's more than a few streams or creeks like the other pic above. Drop a line in that pool to the right or crouch by that leaning maple and see what comes. I enjoy all of the changes of the year and I enjoy them not only for the change they bring but for the anticipation of what follows and the memories that these places provide.

Here's the view from my house. Doing the close ups of the mountains come out blurry, but as you can see behind the houses, the leaves are starting to change and I start to see an array of colors during this time :)

That's a pretty view in any season! I can just imagine how it looks when all the leaves have changed color and also how pretty it would look in the snow. Thanks for sharing!

Very pretty - I hope they use a ride-on lawnmower for all that neatly trimmed lawn

Thanks, guys! :) And no problem! When it snows, it looks like a winter wonderland, lol.

It is too bad Andy is still up north in Baker Lake - otherwise I would suggest a trip back to the UP or Upper Peninsula - to me that was a very special place. I remember my Mom talking about going there when she was younger!

We still need to go visit Mackinac Island - that is another place on my "bucket list" - maybe when we retire :)
