There was talk yesterday that he had shot his own brothers, is this correct? And if he is 17 years old (seen in an article) and one of the brothers he shot was also 17... does this mean that one of the brothers was also his twin?!!!
I know. I believe it affects him no matter where.
I imagine that is the case, Flake. This is so awful for gawd's sake. This kid will not being doing any serious time, I imagine.
An article yesterday said it was his brothers. But this one quotes the RCMP supt. as saying they are unaware of a relationship. Also, in Canada, if it was his brothers, they would not release the names of the victims because it would identify him.

I'm sad this has happened there, staro - and sadly, to echo skimom2 - it seems to be the virus of the US - we hear it so often - but you never get used to it.
There could have been confusion with the brother thing because the Native people tend to call others of their own blood...brother or sister.
I was thinking that too. It was likely a reporter misunderstanding
I worked with the people so long....mostly, Cree or Chip, that they called me "sister" or "my girl". I really miss that since I moved to Edmonton.
Maybe the president feels for Canadians, too.
