Just wanted to give you an update of the stray cat we took into our home. When we took Oliver to the vet, we were told that he was already fixed. He is not a young cat, like we thought. I usually do not screw up that bad with age, but he was so wee. Oliver is closer to 13 years of age and has a kidney disease. We found out after spending 400.00 on blood tests and such. Becky is bringing him back to the vet on friday. He will be going on a helpful diet and given blood pressure tests to keep his condition in check. We love him very much and will hope that he will have some years left. He is very very happy.

I really like the stray we adopted a few months back. I just wish he wouldn't go out and get into so many fights. We got him fixed, but he still comes home with his ears chewed up, last week he had a deep cut right across the front of his nose. He doesn't like to be doctored at all and he still takes off for days at a time. Weird creatures...

Staro, Oliver has found his forever home. Many healing vibes for him. Diet plays an important part with kidney issues. He now has a warm and loving home. Long life, Oliver.

Ghost, not much one can do with adopted stray except be there for them when they come back home. Neutering sometimes doesn't calm their nature instinct. I have one with scared ears and nose. Just give him love.

Yep, he gets plenty of love. My son chases him around the house trying to pet him. I try to explain to him that cats aren't the same as dogs when it comes to affection. Our dog will just flop over on her back and let Daniel scratch her belly until the sun comes up. Cat's are bit different but he likes having a warm house to come to, especially during our recent winter weather.

Thankee kindly for the love he is given. In time, the cat will "allow" pets. Toys on a stick are good to starting playtime. Yep, cats sure of different in nature than dogs.
