Best Butter Tarts recipe - Canadian Living

I have a brother in Cincinnati (wow! I actually spelled that right!) who told me that Americans don't eat butter tarts - so here is a recipe if anyone wants to try them:

They are awfully sweet but very good!:star:

Mmm-mmm!

I'm not good at making pastry, so I make butter tart bars.

((Neesy)) That's terrible! Take a sandwich with you so you can eat it as soon as the blood work is done!;-D
Okay - it is just up the street from my house (I plan to walk there) but yeah - when I get really ravenous I will try to eat anything in sight, so maybe your idea will save me from buying something from the French bakery that just happens to be directly across the street from the lab :nightmare::icon_eek:

I'm wasting away to nothing here........!

Don't want to sully the thread too much, but have you started watching GOTs yet?

No, dang it! But hope to start this weekend. If it rains, we may binge watch till we're caught up! =D

Game of Thrones? I think we have that up here in Canada:
