I love all the great instrumental music they play going to and coming back from commercials. All old movie classics.

Well, Lady Gaga isn't bad, but she's not Julie Andrews. Julie's voice was just easy, clear and pure. Gaga sounded forced. But she held the notes. Too bad Julie couldn't have sung those songs.

I was surprised at how strong Lady Gaga sounded - she has a pretty good voice.

and to see Julie Andrews come out to announce the nominees was quite a special moment - she looks beautiful and so dignified - she must be at least 70 but she looked fantastic - so classy :tickled_pink:

That's it for this year. Love to hear your thoughts CHarlotte when you get the chance. Whose dress did you love? Whose did you hate? etc..etc..etc... on it all. I missed you. But, real life takes precedence.

THank you Neesy, Not Nadine, Blunty and Flakers for popping by. Thank you anyone who reads all my rambling prattle and comments. Lots of movies I need to see now!

Good night.

I am so glad you had back-up. I enjoyed Wicked a lot and I was fretting about the Oscars but Sunday was my Man's Day. The tickets for the play were a Valentine's day gift and he doesn't realize how much the Oscars mean to me and, well, I couldn't spoil his good deed because it was perfect --he listened, he knew I wanted to see that play.

I recorded the Oscars and I've just fast forwarded through the before show and the actual coverage. All of the dresses were beautiful!

The performances of Glory from the movie Selma and Lady Gaga's back-flash for The Sound of Music were just wonderful.

When I did a fast-forward of the coverage . . .I did not see a gown I did not like. Not a one.

One day Dana Jean you and I will be AT The OSCARS~

Zoe takes it for me, DJ. She has grown up! Loved the dress! The color, the flow and the fit was on spot!

All of them had great dresses this year . . .class ruled.
