We had to pause it a few times.............one when
Randall used the metal mallet on Jamie's hand. That had me screaming after remembering so many close encounters with my hammer............

and when
he drove the spike through that hand to attach him to the table....that had the ladies screaming....

and also when
Randall got Jamie's shirt off and started kissing/licking his scarred back. The girls were screaming......I was puking....
The
spike scene
had me cringing as did the
rape
scenes in the finale. My partner went in the bedroom (we have an open plan layout so no way to escape the TV otherwise) while I watched the finale or I might have had to put up with some screaming from him, too!

Got a little behind................ahem, but watched the episode with the trial last night. Loved the ending to this one and whether or not
Claire went back in time or not before returning to Jaime.
Hopefully the next episode will explain if it happened or not.

The trial episode was my favorite of the season because that moment when Claire finds out about
Geillis being from the future
was my favorite part of the book--reading that took me off guard because I wasn't expecting it! Brilliant!

I thought the finale and last week's was definitely the most heartbreaking and intense hours of television I've ever seen. Reading those parts of the book was such an uncomfortable experience for me, so watching it was brutal. Though, I thought Caitriona Balfe, Sam Heughan, and Tobias Menzies handled those scenes so well and did an amazing job. Give those three all the Emmys and Golden Globes already!

That was great when Claire found out about Geillis. I had a feeling she might be
from the future. They dropped a few hints in earlier episodes. I wonder if anyone else is from the future. Or the past mayhap......? ;;D

That's a good question and I keep wondering that myself! :)

If they continue to follow the books, much more will be revealed about time travelers.

Darn! If they're still casting, that means it will be a while before it's back on. I'd hoped that since they'd already green-lighted the second season quite some time ago they already had it in the can and it might be back this fall. I haven't been able to find anything so far with an air date for the premiere of Season 2. Anybody else?

All I know Ms. Mod is that season 2 of filming has started and underway. They're planning to air it in 2016 and have at least 13 or more episodes. No exact premiere date yet!
