Friends who have read the books told me that Claire and Jamie DO age throughout the novels.....like well into middle-age--so I don't know how their going to handle the casting situation with Cait and Sam when that happens

At this rate they won't have to worry about the aging of the two stars. Because they'll both be middle age by the end of filming....

LOL well I hope so! I can't imagine anyone else playing those characters!
The last published book takes place during the American Revolution so goes forward about 30 years. They can probably handle that with make up to make them look older but I had the same thought as OoO with their current film schedule!

There's only so far I'm willing to go with the Scottish side of my ancestry. I wondered about that. I thought maybe you were planning on a livelier celebration than I'd had in mind and we'd be needing a little something to take the edge off after all the beer.
