I found a little baby owl at our lake cottage when I was 6 or 7. One of it's wings looked funny and he could not get away so I grabbed him. Took him home and put him in a cardboard box and cared for him for about a week. I fed him worms and my dad said that they eat meat. He sure scarfed down those worms though. After the week his wing looked better. I took him out of the box and set him on the ground. After several minutes of hopping around and testing things out he flew away never to be seen again. I named him "Kelly". This was at an age when I watched 'Mr. Dressup' on T.V. and I was in awe of the 'wise old owl'. All the best, mal.
