i actually started tearing up while I was looking at the images.... such an amazing, sweet, creative family.
I know what you mean. Could be the shock of actually seeing a feel good story for a change.
Oops, sorry, didn't mean to bring out my cynical side in your thread....
I totally get where you're coming from and i'm the same way... everything used to break my heart and for a long stretch of time in my late 20's i couldn't watch the news... not a bit of it. I'm both grateful and yet a little sad that i've lost that softness... but i feel that it's the chronic condition of living in a world where all information, both positive and negative, is available in it's rawest form.
but these stories... the ones that still level out our worth and humanity.... these still manage to touch me.
I saw that weeks ago and it really touched my heart. Parents that care!

Those types of doctors are rare. What a great, caring man.
...feel goods....so rare to see in the so-called "news" these days, makes them that much sweeter...
