Old Chicago, an indoor park...one of the Omen movies was filmed there
wife has been to Cedar Point I haven't
Sea World, Florida...don't recall which city, Houston, San Diego
Silver Dollar City, Branson
that place in Rapid City...has all the snakes, turtles...Reptile Gardens
don't know which one is favorite...maybe Six Flags, Guernsey, been there the most, they have this old bone-shaker of a roller coaster, wood. wonder if it is still operating?

...don't do the Theme Park thing much.....don't like feeding the corporate "fun" monster....but our State Park, Salt Fork, is a neat drive around and quite beautiful.....

My favorite non-amusement park is BRECC Farr Park Equestrian center.

They have weekend trail rides through acres and acres of scenery, outdoor arenas...

And an amazing indoor arena. It's almost a stadium.

I go riding when I can afford to. Tall Guy goes with me, though he's still dubious about the whole thing. He does it for me.

This is beautiful Gros Mourn National Park in my home Province of Newfoundland. Gosh, I do pick em when it comes to beautiful places to live, aye. Anyway, if you have a hankering for Vikings...just go on up to this area. You will find Viking villages with role players. You will see the actual sites where longhouses were and all that good stuff.
