Extra prayers, Linda. Could his body be rejecting the plate, thus not healing? Hope they figure it out soon.
Oh wow. That is just too much for one family. All I can say is from my own experiences it seems like time crawls when things are rough and fly by too fast when things are good. But this bad time WILL pass and things WILL get better. Hang in there and try to take care of yourself too. I know. That's easy to say but hard to do. I'm giving you the advice people gave me over the past year when my mom was so sick and I had to have a hip replacement in the middle of everything horrible that was happening. I did not take care of myself and I paid for it. So please, try to take a couple minutes a day, look out a window and try to meditate or something so you feel a few minutes of peace enter your soul.

I am not sure perhaps we should ask the specialist. I am making a list of questions. I will add this to it.

Not that we are aware of. His company nurse does his A1C every 3 months and will be drawing his blood again on Monday.He's not diabetic, is he?

King just seems to bring great conversation. The Physical therapist came yesterday. He noticed my clown with a bottle of Pennywise,Then my king cabinet(hutch) with King related items in it. Anyway so that's where the conversation began. So anyway if you walk in my house you know someone is a King fan. So I showed him the rest of my treasures. I think we may have converted him. He took home a copy of Bag of Bones. He had read Mr. Mercedes and is now headed out to buy Finders Keepers.

The Wound specialist appt. has been set for Monday morning.(6-29) Could use healing vibes and prayers. I think Iam more nervous than him.
