Bailey and CJ up above together

So now we only have one cat - Bailey seems to be taking it well - I thought he would be upset and start yowling as he is a Siamese but he is doing okay.

CJ went to the vets on Wednesday and had to be put to sleep due to kidney problems.

I mixed up the thumbnail - that is actually Bailey! :facepalm_smiley:

256x256 - Copy (5).jpg This is the best one I can find where you can see CJ's face.

He had a hard time going up stairs, was vomiting frequently and had terrible breath (which I though was just his teeth) but the vet said his teeth were not all that bad and suspected renal failure.

His eyesight was also failing and he slept a lot (more than most cats).

He had a good long life (16 years) and was very affectionate, more like a dog that a cat.

 I'm so sorry (((Neesy,))) R.I.P CJ... what sweet little kitties, they are both beautiful.
(My very first cat--we were born in the same year--was a Siamese cat called Snoopy. I loved him with all my heart. He behaved like a dog, I could dress him in baby clothes and he would happily lie in my dolls pram as I pushed him around to my friends house. (along state highway one :icon_eek: )
He would sit on my knee on car trips and if we were on holiday, he'd come with us... we'd tie his leash to the clothesline for a few minutes so he could safely scope out the area, and then let him off and he would stick to us like glue.
When he was a kitten, mum would lay him across the top of my pram when she took me out to the shops... or anywhere really and he would just stay there.
Snoopy had to be put down in our twelfth year because he had throat cancer, he was an awesome cat and I struggled so badly letting him go.)

Lovely story Flake - thanks
I just found a picture on-line (it is not CJ) but almost exactly how his face looked:
