Looks like I was wrong. My account had been with Image Shack, but it had been awhile, so they deleted my account at some point.

Just got off of Ebay- there's a lot of listings that now don't show a picture, instead it says to log onto photobucket
That's what I don't like about any online storage site, whether it's pictures or a cloud. Sooner or later, they're going to make you pay for that free terabyte.
i think a lot use the cloud. personally i use facebook. even for those i'm not sharing with the world at large, i made myself a group that's just me and one "dummy" account of mine (because groups require two members) and stash any sort of digital photo i want to keep in there, if my phone is running out of space or something like that. i have an instagram, but i haven't actually posted anything on it lol.
I haven't really taken any photos that I need to put somewhere other than my computer or my phone. I need to make sure I back these things up somewhere. I'd actually like to get them all printed out because yes, I actually am one of these people who wants to hold a picture in my hand.
I did manage to get all my photobucket things to my computer so I feel better about that.
i've had computers unexpectedly break on me, and it's a pain to deal with it at that point, so i've taken to having a backup
I must do this. I must -- yesterday! Or I'm going to lose all of these moments and it will hurt.
depending on what breaks it's theoretically possible to recover, but it can be a real PITA. why i don't want to deal with it.
