Was out walking today, and took a couple of pics.

The others are too big for some reason, and I can't resize on my iPad, so saving those for later!

Such raw beauty! I can picture this same spot on a summer day… green foliage, blue sky and even bluer water and everything kissed by the sun. :smile-new:

Did anyone else notice Jaws by the shoreline?

    Thank you all so much!
It is very peaceful, and I love walking there. Here is a pic from last summer, same road:

I am used to hiking the mountains and woods in Norway, and I was so happy when I found this place. Walking/hiking is the best therapy for me! :)

Well, I think it's quite lovely. I do miss seeing more wildlife, but I think I have found a "new" and bigger forest not far from our house. I need to drive to get there, though, and I prefer to just walk.

Ok, so color me a dummy also. I just realized that I typed "that" instead of the intended "Thank"
    :hmm: Oh well. :)

I had to really look, but I found it! Next time I walk past that rock, I will sing the Jaws theme :D
I read it as thank :)

It is the Flensburger fjord that comes in from the Baltic Sea, @ghost19. Actually, I am standing in Germany, but the land you can see on the far side of the water, is Denmark. :)

Looks a bit chilly there, the summer pic looks like a nice rambling spot.

Well, prepare for picture overload... I went through some old photos online, and I found some more from Norway.
I lived 7 years in this place

    View from my living room:

    And looking behind the house:

It may look wonderful, but all year long, ice cold winds come down from the arctic, and it rains a lot. After a while, the skin on my face got this sore, sandblasted feel, from the cold and salty wind. Would I go back there for a summer vacation, though? Absolutely!!

And, it was fun to see submarines through the living room window, I admit that:

After that I moved inland, further south in Norway:

Lots of wonderful mountains and hills to hike in. And you don't have to worry about getting lost, the tracks are marked with paint on the trees, and many places you find these road signs in the middle of the forest:

I hope someone else also have pics from their home places/countries. :)
