Where did you grow up? Was it as cattywampus as my hometown?

City of Glenwood

Southwestern Arkansas. Middle...of...nowhere....lol I'd say it was a one stoplight town but that would be reaching. It's a bit bigger now, but not by much. The population was around 800 people when I lived there.

What about you? Your use of "cattywampus" is a term I haven't heard in quite a while...lol

Glenwood looks nice.
I grew up in Boone, North Carolina. It was small and rural when I was a kid, but has become a typical college town in the last few years.
My family used "cattywampus" and many other mountain terms that few understand today.

Thanks. It was a fun place to grow up. I very much miss it compared to the city.

Did you'll use "coke" as a generic term for any soda? "What kind of coke do you want?" "Coke" could mean Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, Mello Yellow...whatever. That used to drive my people I knew crazy when I moved up here.

We still ask what kind of Coke you want. LoL
Do y'all also have Cheerwine and Sundrop? Can you guess which is my favorite? :D
