We went to some boutique that didn't have price tags on the gowns (should've been my first clue...what's the saying? "If you have to ask, you can't afford it").
I saw a beautiful gown and took it into the fitting room. It fit like a glove. Went out to show MIL and everyone was oohing and aahing so I decided to buy it.
It was $445.00.
I paid for it, and left the store in shock. Granted, it was my own money that I worked for, but I still felt embarrassed telling my (now) husband how much it cost.
I only wore it once. It still fits and is hanging in my closet waiting to be worn again, but I never go anywhere formal anymore.

I now boycott Yuengling. It once was a cheap beer. They slapped a nice parchment looking label on it and jacked up the price. Momma didn’t raise no fool.No Yuengling? You should be shot.

I can remember a bunch of us girls getting ready to go for the night at a friend's house. Half the time, we would hold the jeans closed and one of our friends would zip them up. THAT's how tight these things were.
