This morning I discovered something new that our eskie dog Miska will bark at besides strangers (she very rarely barks).
Every time it thundered, she would bark, then rush around the house as if looking for the source of the annoying noise! I've heard of dogs that are afraid of thunder but she seemed kinda mad at it!
That is what my doxie- Gismo(Spideyman) would do. Mack, the Akita- three times the size, would go bonkers with fear. He once managed to pull a full size sofa into the middle of the room. Thunder and Mack were not friends.
How have I missed this thread? This is our Bella.
What a sweetie!
He(she?)'s saying "CHEEESE".
I took Miska out for a ride yesterday to a busy little residential shopping district called Squirrel Hill. We didn't see any squirrels but Miska loved all the attention she got from strangers, especially the children! Great place to walk a dog, wide sidewalks and slow traffic, lots of people and things to look at, interesting smells drifting out of restaurants and alleys. And Miska really loved the car ride to get there...I cracked the window open a few inches just so she could safely stick her snout out and collect all the great scents!
Car rides are the best. Have to taste all the smells.
My Daisy Mae.
