Boy? Girl? Name? What a cutie pie! Love the Halloween neckerchief! =D

This is Louie :) Close to Lulu, but I feel like it's not fair to rename an adult dog (Maybe we can teach him to answer to Chewie--lol). He's just been a doll. Whatever bad behavior my mom and brother were ascribing to him (wetting inside, barking all the time, etc) hasn't been experienced at all. He had one accident within minutes of first setting foot inside the house (and on a plastic bag, so there was a bit of luck), and only barks when there's someone at the door. He's just a lovey. My oldest daughter is allergic to cats, so he's the closest she can come without sneezing :D

Where'd you rescue him from and how old is he? The peeing could just be a bit of anxiety and I'm sure he'll get over that really soon!

Oh sweet baby! Was this your mom's dog? I'm happy to hear it's working out.

One of the four my mom had. He wasn't the favored dog--either ignored or yelled at--so DD#1 decided to bring him home. He's just a sweetie! He looked and smelled bad, but that was soon sorted: a grooming and vet visit did the trick. Now he looks cute, has his shots for the first time in years, his toenails are clipped (one was so long that it had doubled over and was growing up in a letter 's' laying on it's belly shape), and he's getting his teeth fixed. We found out he has terrible gum disease (thus the bad breath) from eating a diet of soft treats and human food, both bad for any dog, but particularly for small terriers (according to our vet) as they already have a tendency toward bad teeth. They need crunchy food and treats, always. He's lost one tooth in the front already, and the vet will likely have to pull another one, but then he'll be all healthy :) He had the one pee accident, and that's it. Best of all, he and Lulu get along great :) Very glad we got him!
