Puppies!

I have a friend whose dog will not eat unless he is standing there watching him. Once my friend leaves the room, the dog will stop eating every time. My friend thinks the dog has an irrational fear of choking and wants him there to perform the Heimlich maneuver
My parents dog does this... it is sooo annoying. (I hope they don't read this.
)I look after her quite often and the only way I can make her eat faster is if I have one of my dogs close by and say to her every couple of minutes... "Ella will eat your breakfast if you don't, so... hurry up, Baylee!"
My ex mother-in-law had two labs who would sit in front of the bowl and not eat until she said "ok"
One time she forgot and came home hours later and they were still sitting there - drooling

My Labs do this too! (Not sure they would last hours though... but, if I 'test' them with words that sound like "ok" they won't actually eat until I say the right word.)My ex mother-in-law had two labs who would sit in front of the bowl and not eat until she said "ok"
