This is my moms dog Cujo. She did not name him that it was his name when she adopted him. It is kind of ironic because I read Stephen King books but had never heard of Cujo. After I read the book I thought you know this dog doesn't have rabies but the name fits like a glove

that water was clean before he got in there

I should point out that both him and the mastiff dirtied that water. I throw the toy in there and they both race after and jump in.
