Scary story. I’ve never heard of such a thing with only 15 stings and not being allergic. So tragic.

Thanks for posting it though. I dealt with an infestation of wasps coming in through the rec room ceiling two weeks ago. Killed about 50 wasps before I found where they were coming in, and temporarily patched up the spot. Luckily for me it was night so they weren’t so aggressive. Tomorrow evening I am opening up the ceiling to remove the nest and repatch it. The exterminator who now has treated the problem (estimates about 500 wasps up there) wants to be present when I open the ceiling in case things go wrong. I had no qualms about doing it until I read this story. Now I will take extra precautions with heavy clothing, gloves and netting over my head. Wish me luck.
