Has anyone used the new Purex PowerShot product? If so, I have a question.

It is designed, via liquid/pressure physics (I guess), to always have a measured dose ready in the cup device at the top. You invert it over the laundry machine and it delivers the correct amount. When I saw this, I wanted to give it a shot.

I thought that, once the dose dropped in, the liquid flow would stop, but I noticed that, after the big splash-out of what was in the cup, a slow thin stream continues to pour out. I was hoping that only the splash-out would occur, then nothing.

I just wanted to see if I am doing anything wrong. If anyone has used this, does the same thing happen?

If anyone decides to try this, please be sure to read all warnings. There is one, on the cap I believe, that says to open it away from your face. I guess detergent can pop out unexpectedly depending on pressure. I have not encountered that yet, but a YouTube video reviewer said it happened to her.

Rrty, are you perchance, packaging challenged?
Hey nothing to be embarassed about, I am, and I know millions are.
Why hell, I've probably, killed more packages, bottles, and containers than I've opened or properly used, in fact there's a box of cat litter I'm just gettin' ready to murderize, my only regret is that it won't be painful...uhhh, well you know, unless that butcher knife slips:a17:
(if it does, I swear I'm huntin' down and takin' out it's whole family:wink2:)

You may be on to something here, PITH. I'm afraid Rrty may suffer from this..............

I don't trust self-dispensing detergents. I don't like HE washers either. I like to add detergent to a filled washer and let it agitate a while before I add the clothes. I'm a bit ocd about evenly washed and rinsed clothes lol.

We HATE ours (HE Washer) - we want our old one back... it takes 100 years to do a load of laundry now... of course, I miss Windows 3.1 too ...
