Bev,
As of the recent Publishers Weekly fiction bestsellers list, Revival has sold 300,000 copies. I believe that represents physical copies, not digital sales.
Can you provide some context and analysis to this statistic? How does it compare to the performance of past bestsellers in King's catalog? Has TV content such as Under the Dome helped with sales, or not affected them? Has King's readership dropped off over the years, or has it increased? And has his main target demographic aged at this point? I wonder if the tech-savvy millennials, for example, read books as much as they used to (and if they mostly buy digital as opposed to hardcover and paperback). Perhaps the younger demos mostly consume King's ideas through filmed content.
Maybe you could write a blog post over at Cemetery Dance on the subject, as well.
Thanks.
