I have some toy caps that I want to get rid of, but wanted to make sure they were made safe before disposal. Can I put them in water before disposing? I just tried getting rid of them with the toy gun but they are too loud for my ears, and there's way too many of them. If anyone knows about them, I would appreciate any info. I read that they sometimes can ignite on their own, so I want to be safe.

....soak the hell out of them in water....for several days, that will break paper and gunpowder down-then simply dig a hole and bury the mush......
