Who cares about King. I was talking about the possibility of Hoss and me at the same event. :)
There's a no discussing politics rule at Kons, so you should be fine if you heed that. At least if what you've both been saying about getting along just fine otherwise is true. How long you both could go without bringing it up would be the question. ;)

That's a one to one type of thing. We do have a reputation needed to be maintained with the SKMB members you know.

Put me in for $10 at 13 minutes. ;)

Is it true Stephen has a fear of the number 13?

Does Stephen has a preference of what title (Mr. King, Stephen, Stephen King) people use to address/speak him?
Just your average superstition about the number 13. :smile2:

It depends on who is addressing him and in what context but the one that he doesn't care for is if someone who doesn't really know him calls him Steve.

I once met Jonathan Davis, the singer for Korn; he had the same pet peeve about being called Jon instead of Johnathan by people he doesn't know well. I did call him Jon, not intentionally to be rude or breach the line of familiarity, it was just an unconscious abbreviation of the name.

I sure as shot would not want to awaken his anger. Hee hee!!!!

The second... I have a $20 riding on a novel based on the Bible prophecy about the apocalypse: "The Sun shall be turned into darkness.” A story about a group of friends on a camping trip to the mountains of Maine. No cellphones and no contact with the outside world. Dealing with their final days as the world grows cold, dark and very sinister.

Hmmm… Perhaps I shouldn’t have been so specific in my bet. :(

But seriously, can you at least give us a hint as to what genre it will be?
That would be awesome.

Does Stephen collect anything? I collect Weird Tales magazine -does he? Anything horror related really. Everything from pocket skeletons to Elvira standups. Is he secretly sick of horror? Or is it like a sickness, an addiction, never quenchened? Has he ever had an actual real life experience? Ha! I have! Is he envious? I never expected it. Total surprise. Yes I'm ripped. No less true. What say you? Happy holidays!

I used to collect Weird Tales magazine. I had all but the first nine issues (1923-24). I got tired of them and sold them for a very decent price. Sometimes I regret it, but this was before the internet and I had virtually no way of finding those issues I needed. Now, you can find them (at some pretty expensive values) but you CAN find them.
