What were his feelings about the original? Given, it was a made for TV mini-series, but I don't think it kept true to the book as much as it could have.
I don't remember what he's said about it so must not have had particularly strong feelings one way or the other. I think he said they did a good job but I don't think it would rank in one of the top favorites.

From what he said about not ordering it that way and not liking spiders, my guess would be no.

That's crazy they just put the spiders on it without doing any research. I am actually then surprise he took the photo with the guitar. (Although, he looks pretty cool) It's funny, the one time I saw King at a book event. I struggled with finding the right question to ask him. (and I am a journalist! ha) He's been pretty open from the book such as "On Writing" to the end or beginning explanations he gives in many of his novels.

What does Stephen King think about used book stores and how they (affect/effect) the industry of buying and selling books?
He doesn't have a problem with them as he understands it's part of the business and is happy to see any bookstore. Sometimes that will be the only way a person can get a particular book if it's out of print.

And it's the only way some of us can afford to buy books. And thank God for libraries-the Kings have been tremendously generous with their library donations! I think if I ever met SK, this would be one of the things I would thank him for.

The next published one that's already been written or the next one he'll be writing? I can answer the first question but :zip_it: the second.
The second... I have a $20 riding on a novel based on the Bible prophecy about the apocalypse: "The Sun shall be turned into darkness.” A story about a group of friends on a camping trip to the mountains of Maine. No cellphones and no contact with the outside world. Dealing with their final days as the world grows cold, dark and very sinister.

Hmmm… Perhaps I shouldn’t have been so specific in my bet. :(

But seriously, can you at least give us a hint as to what genre it will be?
