Yes!! thanks for your reply. I got tickets yesterday. The woman from the Collins Center was so excited about this event. I swear she repeated the phrase "you're going to have have so much fun" about a dozen times. It was really cute. She's right, it IS going to be a blast. I wrangled up a friend to join me and we have great orchestra seats for the show(didn't know that was in the Gala ticket price. yay!) I'm so looking forward to this! I absolutely want to introduce myself and meet you. One question.....how will I know who you are?
She only stands about [measuring] yay-high and has the most gorgeous blue eyes...

Short gray hair, glasses, planning to wear a black skirt, black jacket, off white lace top, have a slight limp. How about you? ;-D

Hahaha! I love it! For MY dating profile(lol) I will ask you to be on the look out for a tall-ish, average built, brown haired chick wearing black dress pants, a multi colored(mostly blue)shirt with a black shrug over it who will most likely be standing by the open bar(;;D) or near the food ;-D. I'll keep my eyes peeled. Looking forward to meeting you!
P.S. Is it a good thing that we already know what we're wearing?

My options are pretty limited as I don't do a lot of dressing up these days. Was prepared to go to a thrift store rather than pay a fortune for something I likely wouldn't wear again but remembered I had this in the closet. Not to mention that not being able to use the treadmill while I'm recovering from the foot surgery has had more of an effect (not a good one!) than I'd realized. :blue: Looking forward to meeting you, too!

Ms. Mod, Madame, I need to bother you again. :0:(sheepish?) In regards to Saturday night(and I am going to sound like a giddy little schoolgirl because that is what I feel like)if Stephen is mingling or doing whatever it is he does at these things and the opportunity arises, how do I approach him? Run at him full steam ahead with arms wide open screaming how much I love him? Just kidding ;-D but seriously, can you give me some guidance? Also if I get a chance can I ask him for a picture or is that bad form? These are probably stupid questions but I would rather ask a stupid question than actually DO something stupid. Thank you.

The reception, not the dinner, would be the more appropriate time to approach. Basically just use the same sense of propriety as you would in any other social situation about speaking with someone and not interrupting if they're in conversation with someone else. As for pictures, the most important thing is to not use the flash.

I definitely wouldn't do anything ridiculous, I've been to many a horror convention so am good about approaching people, I just wasn't sure if I was even allowed to approach him at the reception if the opportunity presents itself. So asking for a picture is okay as long as there is no flash? I don't want to irritate him......
Thanks for reply and help. Maybe the one I'll run screaming up to is YOU ;;D

Just think to yourself... “What Would Dio’Bolic Do?” and everything will go along swimmingly. ;):)

I'm not planning to go to the reception unless he wants me there for some reason so wouldn't be able to help you out until dinner time. =D
