R.I.P. Chuck Berry

I remember Bruce Springsteen telling a story about opening up for Chuck Berry before Bruce became famous. Berry was late showing up and the manager told Bruce to just keep on playing. The crowd begins to get hostile. Bruce sees Berry show up but he insists on getting paid before he plays. He goes in the back to get his cash. Once he gets the money he finally comes onstage and starts to take out his guitar. Bruce and his band are supposed to play backup to Berry but have no idea what songs he is playing. So Bruce asks him and Berry just responds "Chuck Berry songs."
