Still willing to give them a try. When you have an obsession with bacon the way I do; you will try
just about anything once.
For Christmas, I got bacon smelling bandaids and the top of the bandaid looks like a slice of bacon...

They actually do have the streaky bacon like everyone else...back bacon is an extra is all.

We have side bacon (the streaky kind as you say), thick slice bacon, pepper bacon, maple bacon, smoked bacon, back bacon, fat back bacon(the ends of the side bacon left in chunks; you chop it up and put it in homemade baked beans), roasts of bacon, slab bacon. All
100% pork. There are more; I just can't think of them right now. Oh brown sugar bacon, hickory smoked bacon are a couple more I

Uhhhh, no. But we do have bacon pie with cheese and garlic in it. Forgot that one. And bacon
frittatas too. They are both a heart attack waiting to happen .

Cost of Living? B.C is very high but have a low tax rate which helps. An example; beef is so expensive that I've eaten beef once
in the last year. Prime Rib Steaks, for example, are $57.00/lb. Lowest cost of living, I'm told, is the East Coast provinces. Ontario's
cost of living is high in some areas; especially SW Ontario. Northern Ontario is better as is Eastern Ontario. Can't speak of Quebec;
don't know really. The Prairie Provinces vary I think. Does that answer?
