I don't understand the thing on the website before you come into the message board, saying something like 'Celebrate Stephen King's Birthday' win some stuff but I don't know what you have to do, is it a competition? Is it ended because he had his birthday a few days ago.
I'm not sure about this Mr. C. Maybe someone knows and can give you an answer.

Just saw this advertised. It's a BBQ competition in Murphysboro, IL. The name cracked me up.

It looks like a Simon & Schuster promotion. If you click the photo/banner on the front page of StephenKing.com then it takes you to this page.

A while ago I did a diploma in journalism for my own interest. My 3 favorite movies about journalists are Absence of Malice, Spotlight, and The Ring. The last one is classified as a horror movie, but the protagonist (Rachel Keller) is a journalist. I've seen Absence of Malice twice. The title alone made me want to watch it. Sally Field owns every single movie or tv show she appears in. Spotlight was also excellent and deserved all its Academy Awards and nominations. Rachel McAdams put on the performance of her career in that one. Spotlight struck a chord with me because I grew up in the Catholic church.

The guy who delivers the stock to my store overnight (I manage an auto parts store) texted me at midnight to tell me he'd heard weird noises inside the store when he was dropping off my stuff. Of course, I was a bit apprehensive when I walked into the store in the darkness at 6 am. Haven't heard anything out of the way. Maybe he was just messing with me. I've been sending him pictures of Pennywise playing off his fear of clowns and this might be his way of getting back at me.
