A few weeks ago, I had mentioned to a friend that I might join her team at a local Alzheimers Walk (that took place today).
Earlier, she posted pics on fb and I commented "Sorry I couldn't make it, I completely forgot!".
I deleted the comment as soon.as I realized my mistake...hope no one took offense

So I went to a local bar last night. Had a great time. I had to enlist a female friend to run interference for me on this young lady who was getting a little too touchy feely for my likings. That was working well until this lady who’s old enough to be my mom sits next to me and SHE started getting happy hands! I’ve determined that I’m a magnet for crazy...
Some authors have a formula they follow for every single book. Sophie Kinsella's My Not So Perfect Life is basically a retelling of The Undomestic Goddess. She's just changed the the names of the characters and the locations. Dean Koontz and Danielle Steele have also been guilty of this. The result is a somewhat boring, predictable novel.
