I saw one Christmas tree up on November 11th (thought that was in poor taste).
Then the next day it was as if they were spreading like a virus - quite a few wards had them up already (I guess some of the nurses need all the Christmas cheer they can get since their positions have been made redundant)
I guess if I would've had my way, I would have been the reigning queen of poor taste. I wanted my tree up before Halloween.

The past couple of years I have had no Christmas spirit at all. But this year, I want to change that. I'm determined to capture some of that anticipation and magic of my younger self.
