I miss my mom's fruitcake. They were the best!
I know! (are we weird or what?)
now I have a hankering for a nice chewy fruitcake full of cherries and nuts and dried fruit

Damn you, Neesy! Karen had to go to the store, and I asked her to get me a fruitcake! She got me a small one made by Tastykake. Yummy! I shouldn't have it, but a little piece won't kill me. It's all your fault, girl!

I wonder why some plastic they put on things are almost impossible to open.

I've always assumed it was in order to prevent people from returning products they've changed their minds about buying. Packaging used to be easy to open, but re-attachable intact, if necessary. Nowadays, I wonder if an award is not given at the end of each year: Greatest Achievement in Invulnerable Plastic Packaging.
