Is it just me, or does Santa have an odd tendency to distribute the presents amongst children based on how rich the parents are ?

I am so upset. I just returned from my ob-gyn appointment. She told me she is leaving in June to go to D.C. to work.
She is the sweetest person, and I am losing her.
She has been the second doctor I have been to who left that I have thought the world of.

She should be able to refer you to someone good.
She did. It's another doctor in the same building. She was the one who found my cancer, and set it up to see the surgeon. Very gentle person. I am going to miss her terribly.
Thanks for the hug, Frank. She gave me lots of hugs too.
I'm kind of attached to my doc, too. We're friends.
That's how I feel about her. She was more than my doctor, she was a kind, warm-hearted friend.

Went for a cardio checkup. New insurance, so a new doc. I didn't want to give up my old one, because he's a great guy and a great doc, but I didn't want to pay him out of pocket, either, although with the old insurance, I mostly did.
They gave me an EKG. New doc came in, looked at it, chatted me up like he had nothing better to do that day than talk to me, said he wanted to read my heart attack story, told me the EKG looked perfectly normal, and then called me personally later in the day to tell me something he'd researched based on our conversation. So I like this new doc.

Bump me again, I like it.
Everyone in the house has the tummy bug, except my son-in-law. I had it all last week, then Kaden got it Friday night, and threw up, then Kat had it, and then Karen got hit with it yesterday, and has been throwing up, and diarrhea. Fun times around here.
