Over fifteen years ago, I bought a framed art print I really liked for around $200 (only time I've ever purchased art besides at a thrift store!). Was doing some research today, and that same framed print is selling on ebay for $75. I actually bought art that depreciated (or I was just that naive?!)!

Do you love the picture? If so, no money wasted. :)

Nah, not at all naive, just appreciative of where you find beauty, at worse:thumbs_up:
I have an antique chiffarobe, a free standing wardrobe, I bought for Mama back in '78 or '79, for 175.00 beans, can't hardly give it away today.
Offered it for a rock bottom hundred once not that long ago, was offered fifty, told 'em beat it, it's worth that just in kindlin' to me.
Suckers work both ways, so ya see, if it's just about dough, maybe your not even the potentially naive one;)

Toy boxes, Tina, you cleaned up the rooms yesterday. Or is RJ helping and playing hide n seek with them!
He wasn't here when I was doing that, and he came over this morning after I discovered I couldn't find them. So he isn't the culprit this time! It is driving me crazy, I always hang them up where they belong. Aaargh.
