Somebody ought to make a set of keys you can push a button on the vehicle and the keys toot or chuckle or scream or something. I bet someone does that, eventually. Probably have engineers working on it now. Or just pretending to work.

cat in a bag Give St. Anthony a shout out. He always comes through. But then you need to do a good deed in thanks.

I said this and then stuck my hands down in between the back cushions on the couch and there they were. ;-D

I didn't see them when I had the couch turned over. Probably because it is one of those monstrosities that reclines and they were hung up on the metal mechanism. Oh my gosh.

I am beat. I was already tired and I'm having one of my hurting spells, been overdoing it lately...

They are hung up on the hook now. :encouragement:

See, this is why we say it! :haha:

Here we usually have continuous deep snow on the ground from December through February (if not longer).
A couple years ago I walked my boy to the end of the driveway to put him on his school bus. Didn't realize I dropped my keys along the way. We looked everywhere. We had extra keys but we were paranoid that someone found/took our keys and was going to rob us or worse. So after searching for a few days with no results, we had all of our locks changed. We have multiple doors leading outside so it cost a fortune.
When the snow melted and I found the keys...my tirade would've made Tony Soprano blush.

My family is notorious for loosing things in their yards. That’s why I went out and got one of these. A lot cheaper in the long run than changing locks. My sister is currently borrowing it.

Is it weird that I read about a mass plague victim grave having been unearthed in London and my first thought was, "Wouldn't it be a cool if that reactivated the plague in modern London? I wonder what would happen?"
They wouldn't have a chronicler to match Daniel Defoe, thats for sure. Have you read his diary of the plague years from 1722 about the plague in 1665?

I have not, but I'll look it up tomorrow on my library trip. I really enjoyed Year of Wonders, by Geraldine Brooks, on the same topic. It's a novel, but according to her author's note, she researched the year and the town thoroughly to get the historical detail correct. Her People of the Book was a good historical fiction, too. They both have a single silly and unconvincing 'romance', limited to a scene or two, but I ignored those (lol). It's one of those times that I think it's pretty clear that she was 'encouraged' by her publisher to shoehorn in a romance to sell the book to women--completely unnecessary, because the books stories stand on their own.
