Have heard from Parnassus who are following up with the Ryman who will follow up with StubHub. Apparently scalping is legal in Tennessee but at least one of the tickets is clearly fraudulent as it is offering a standing room ticket. They will pull that one and look into the others. The e-tickets aren't going to be released until a couple days before the event to give them time to continue to scrub the purchases for bot sales. That will probably not prevent some from slipping through but they're doing what they can to keep the tickets available for those who actually want to attend instead of just make a few bucks.
Wow, they take these things seriously. Good to know. Thanks for the update.

Ms Monk is on the case!

I stopped at Walgreens today. They had a display for the Red Nose Day Fund, which supports non-profit organizations that help lift children and young people out of poverty in the United States and overseas. It seems to be something started in the UK over 25 years ago. When I saw the display, the first thing that popped into my mind was “Pennywise.” $1 apiece... I just had to get me a couple. :)

Thanks. Not sure if there's anything they can do about it but will pass this along to Parnassus. The ticketing at Ryman Auditorium was supposed to be done in such a way that bot purchases would be detected and scrubbed.
Oh it would be so fabulous if they get those tickets back and there are 30 available!

edit: drat. Didn't read the entire thread.

I didn't know anything about this. It's wonderful! I'm going to Walgreens after work tomorrow and get some red noses by God. Thank you Dio.

I wear mine random. I do. It's a good thing to have at all times.
I've worn it posting.

No one is the wiser. You never know.

True story.
What a great cause. I'm going to wear mine too. I'm gonna wear mine at work for as long as I can get by with it. I've never worn a clown nose before. Clown shoes sure, who hasn't?
