Behind you
Quiet in work today as usual. Except for the guy working in the shop a floor below me. Blasting Metal and singing real loud.

I got the giggles. Pretty soon everyone around me got the giggles.

He was good.

Saw him later at break and thanked him. Said thankya back - I was welding. I sing when I weld.

Found out he is in a band. Another one of the many family members that work in that company.

Uh, no. Surprised me, because always quiet in our little group and snickers to himself.

erp. :redhat: wool hat with a long beard.

Oh. yea.

And the Ice cream man was not so nice in Mr. Mercedes either.

They have dilly bars, darn it.
I just drove to the mall, picked up a flag I had ordered, ate some fish and coleslaw, then popped into Dairy Queen.

12 Dilly Bars - 18 bucks!

I will have to ration them out slowly and share them with son and future D-in-L :)

What if the whole world missed a day tomorrow? Who would that hurt? Start Monday on Tuesday. You got a problem with that?

I've been trying to implement a similar policy for years. To wit: an eight day week. Call it Derf Day or whatever, an extra weekend day, but right in the middle, like between Wednesday and Thursday. No work, no pants, free Slurpees. Why not?

and a day during which the All-Seeing-Eye nods off. There would be that time when it opens its eye again...so...ummm, maybe not.

The 9000 series is the most reliable computer ever made. No 9000 computer has ever made a mistake or distorted information.

I wonder if there have been any anomalies? You know, with the System? We've got 11 members posting, 118 guests a-lurking, 13 robots (who do they do?) Many websites track traffic, numbers, visits. Say if there is a perceived mistake in a story there are many who set out to point that mistake out, hold someone accountable. Say if so-and-so makes a public statement, same sorta things happens. So I wonder if there are any anomalies? A spike in visits or new members for no apparent reason. Somebody on Titan needs a spare part, and so it goes?

I've just picked up a fault in the AE35 unit. It's going to go 100% failure in 72 hours.

5 Hot Topics, 1 Sunday Survey, 14 Games a-hopping and 13 robots (what do they do again?)

All this business about predictions and polls...the news...not satisfied with providing the facts, you decide...now we get 24/7 predictions. Is that what the robots are doing? Predicting the future? Taking our pulse, diagnosing the problem, electing an outcome?

Have you tried turning it off then turning it back on again?

Derf Day it is! Onward & Upward!

I'll second that motion - we need more days like that.
