Meh. Just an excuse for A. Skarsgard to run around without a shirt--lol. Not my cuppa. (and yes, a gorilla would rip any human apart. I don't care. I still like the first Burroughs Tarzan book, and the first John Carter book
My fave ape man flick gotta be Tarzan and his Mate (said mate being the exquisite Maureen O'Sullivan in her skimpy Jane skins, hubba hubba), pretty good pre-code oldie.
That one with Chistopher Lambert was pretty decent, what they call it...Greystoke. Probably most accurate of all the ape man flicks. And great Rick Baker ape fx, btw.
Always dug Burroughs's Mars books more, really.
